Circular Corner
19/03 – 01/04 | Reception – Earhart Building
During the Circular Days, we’re opening our Circular Corner. Do you have something that’s still perfectly usable but no longer has a place at home? Give it a second life in our Circular Corner and maybe discover something new yourself.
What can you exchange?
- Books
- Plants & cuttings
- Small decorative items
- Small, useful gadgets (chargers, desk accessories, …)
What not to bring?
- Broken items
- Clothing, large or unsafe items
Let’s keep it practical, inspiring and clutter-free, so everything in the Circular Corner truly gets a second chance.
Documentary – Buy Now! The Shopping Conspiracy
20/03 – At noon (Duration: 1h 24m) – The Plectrum
What if our buying behaviour is less spontaneous than we think? Buy Now! The Shopping Conspiracy pulls back the curtain on the world’s biggest brands and reveals the hidden tactics and strategies that keep us trapped in an endless cycle of consumption.
This thought-provoking documentary invites us to take a critical look at marketing, fast consumption and our own role within the system.
Get inspired, surprised and maybe even challenged. Because conscious consumption is the first step towards a circular future.
Workshop 'From Waste to Wow!'
24/03 – 12:05 PM to 12:50 PM – Arena – Pégoud Building
Circularity on our campus is something you can see, feel and use every day. From the chairs in the meeting rooms to the cork walls and the atmosphere at Bar Amelia: materials given a new life visibly make a difference here.
During this session, the Look & Feel team will introduce you to their upcycling mindset. Through practical tips & tricks and an inspiring tour, you’ll discover how circularity is woven throughout the entire campus.
We’ll wrap up in the upcycle atelier, where the three ladies of Look & Feel transform materials from waste to WOW every single day.
Repair Café
01/04 – 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Bar Amelia
A Repair Café is a free event where volunteer repairers help fix clothing and electrical appliances.
Payment? No — only if a spare part is required.
Registration? Not necessary. You’ll receive a queue number upon arrival. In the meantime, you can enjoy a drink at Bar Amelia.
Items they generally do not repair:
- Pressure washers
- Microwave ovens
- Flat-screen TVs
- Large coffee machines
- Printers
Zippers (only in exceptional cases, please inquire in advance and bring your own zipper)

Clothing Swap
01/04 – 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM – Bar Amelia
Done with your clothes? Bring them along and go home with something new!
How does it work?
- Bring clothes you no longer wear
- Pick out something you like
- Make sure your items are clean and in good condition
Where can you drop off your clothes?
- Reception Earhart Building
- Maximum 5 pieces of clothing accepted per person. Accessories, shoes and undergarments will not be accepted.
When?
- Drop-offs are welcome before April 1st at the reception

This is just the beginning! Join the clothing loop!
The swap kicks off a permanent clothing loop at Upoffiz. Members take a bag of clean clothing home, keep what they like, add items to pass on, and return the bag to a locker on campus. Participation is free, flexible, and open to all Upoffiz loop 5 members. Rules and updates will be shared in the WhatsApp community group.
