We live in a world that is rapidly digitising. Technology often makes our lives easier, but unnoticed, it also increasingly makes us dance to its tune. From advertisements that pop up after a conversation to algorithms that determine what we see, buy and even feel. 

At Upgrade Estate, we believe that technology should be a tool, not a steering wheel. But how critically do we still dare to look at digital innovations and artificial intelligence? 

That is why we are inviting Rens van de Vorst, lecturer and tech philosopher. His lectures are anything but ordinary: passionate, humorous and sometimes delightfully provocative.
