Step-by-step guide to charge correctly

STEP 1: park your car

Make sure that your car's charging port is easily accessible for the charging cable.

STEP 2: choose the correct charging station, not your neighbour's

The green arrow in your space indicates which charging station belongs to your parking space.

STEP 3: connect your charging cable to the car

First, plug the cable into your car's charging port.

STEP 4: connect the charging cable to the charging station

Then plug the other end of the cable firmly into the charging station.

STEP 5: Hold your charge card to the card reader or complete your payment online

Charge card: Wait for a beep, light or notification confirming that the charging station has recognised your card.

Online payment: Select your charging station here and complete the payment. €50 will be held on your card; the final amount is based on your actual charging time and will be settled automatically.

STEP 6: wait until the charging session starts

The charging station usually locks the cable (you will hear this), after which charging starts automatically. Check your dashboard or the car's charging port to see if the car is actually charging.

STEP 7: Finished loading? End the session with your charging card.

Hold your charging card in front of the card reader again to stop the session.

STEP 8: disconnect the cable from the charging station and then from your car.

The charging station will unlock the cable, after which you can disconnect it. Then remove the cable from your car.

STEP 9: store your charging cable

This will keep it clean and prevent damage.

STEP 10: are you experiencing problems?
